SRWT Sponsorship

Heading to Calgary on Monday to meet with the marketing director for a slew of malls in Alberta and BC.

Just heard back from Cornwall Centre in Regina. They want to talk on Friday.

Saskatoon Police Association and First Sask Credit Union are looking very likely in Saskatoon.

St. Vital Centre is committed.

Sponsorship packages are being created and contacts are being made.

My very good friend Adam has passed on the info on the show to a big time tv producer in Vancouver. He told Adam today his plan was to watch the demo episodes with his kids tonight.

Things are humming in SRWT land.

There's a trade show in Banff in early June that would be great to go to to present the sponsor package but it's a pricy little endeavour and we haven't made a final decision on it yet.

Lots of production action going on. Denise will finish digitizing India tomorrow.

Swani starting tomorrow and Chris starting on Monday.

Whew. All the pieces are coming together.

Now all we need is....income.

Random stuff

Any guesses who the cutie baby is?
A sample shot from Shea's photo shoot last week.
And (hopefully) some links for all to join Facebook and to stay up to date with Shea's Rockin' website.

Start spreading the news

Last night on FACEBOOK I created a Shea's Rockin' World Tour group. I'm hoping that all those who believe in the show will join the group and start talking it up on there. Hopefully the group will grow and spread like a bad fungus...and eventually take over the world.

The idea is to begin to create a buzz leading up to the launch of SRWT this September.

So - all you dedicated fans, here's an easy way for you to show your support and help us build some momentum....you know who you are...you too Pablo!!

Time is ticking down and much is accomplished each and every week!

We've brought in some extra help to digitize (welcome Swani) and we've now got the superstar team of Chris and Bree (who haven't actually met yet) working on the new website graphics and interactive features. How exciting!!!!!!!!

We're getting lots of peeks at India - new music is really working for Kenya - a bit of fine tuning and it will near completion...

And on the biz end - each and every day brings new possibilities...

Get your FACEBOOK on everyone and please let us know if you have other suggestions for some viral marketing...

Ok - You're right - I haven't been keeping up

Y'know, it's funny. I live and breathe SRWT everyday - there's always so much going on...for example - today we did a photo shoot with Shea so that we'd have some really fab studio shots for whatever we may need them for - and we have some fantastic sponsors we're in discussion with - but I'm so immersed in all that, I don't think to update the blog on the mundane biz side of things. But then I'm called on it (by my good friend Teresa) and I ponder a bit an realize there's lots of neat things to talk about.

We've added Swani who is going to be helping Denise digitize - to help speed up the process. D is working hard on India so we'll be seeing some great new footage soon. Bree has been hard at it coming up with ideas for our soon to be released, newly revamped website...several sponsors in Winnipeg have indicated real interest (very very exciting) I have a plan to go and talk with some people in Calgary (also very exciting) even some potential for some national sponsors but let's not get ahead of ourselves and oh yes. ..I have some things going on at Picante.

So keep watching - I'll add some cool shots from the photo shoot on Monday. They looked awesome!

Talk soon and thanks for continuing to care!

It's been awhile...

...since I've written. And so much has been happening.

Today's Winnipeg Free Press features an article by Lindor Reynolds on the show. It's not bad - it could be worse. I had been a little worried. It's just that we are poised over the next few weeks to do some really exciting things and to make some big announcements and this article's timing was a little premature - but I didn't want to turn down the opportunity.

Not sure the blog is the best place to cover off the business end of this project so I'll not go into it too much here.

However, we will be on the air in Manitoba and Saskatchewan launching the third week of September. The next few weeks will tell if we are going to go beyond that into other markets across Canada.

Place your bets everyone. I know I'm feeling really positive about things.

More thanks to Tourism Malaysia

We are now in Putrajaya - close to Kuala Lumpur. Tourism Malaysia has arranged our accommodation in quite simply the most beautiful hotel I've ever stayed in.

What an awesome place to end our Malaysian adventure.

Also the perfect place to shoot intros, links and catch up on some Hawaii stuff that needs to get done.

We're going on a bit of a tour early on - then back here to do some work - then off to watch Pop Shuvit perform tonight. YAY!

With luck we'll have two episodes on Malaysia and believe me, they deserve it. I think everyone should visit Malaysia. It's an awesome place with fantastic people.

Allow me a moment to gush!

This is just such an awesome crew. They've really banded together when facing any kind of difficulty - and we've had more than a few on this trip. They've remained calm and supportive and have worked their aS*#$% off.

Unky Duck who just never quits...
Denise who's stepped in and risen to the occasion - she's amazing!
Allan who takes care of a million details and keeps smiling
Carrie who is facing many fears and looking them right in the eye
Marnie who's great attitude and happy ways keep everyone smiling and Shea looking awesome (with Carrie's help)
Shaun who keeps things on track - great can-do and will-do attitude.
Ezi who absolutely loves everything we do and everywhere we go
...and Shea who has been absolutely brilliant in these shows. She sparkles.

An awesome crew and an awesome time had by all. Wish you could all be here!

Mega thanks have to go to Tourism Malaysia. What amazing hosts.
